It's a strange opinion to have held over a book that is definitely in my top five of the series. It's a short, well-paced story, with some of the best moments of AR's writing: the nearly-discovered wet swimming costume, "worshipping" the gorgon, lawn-mowing, Dick's response to peeling the rabbit, the D's first sail in the Scarab...and not forgetting the G.A.'s putting down of the Colonel. I like it a lot.
