Ed is a great man, who else typed in all the books? That is a work of true love.
I second that. Ed has been extremely generous in sharing his research with
other TarBoarders. He has never refused a request for a particular word search.
He has a gentle sense of humour. He is at that point in life when in many
cultures he would be venerated as a sage. Indeed he has addressed a TARS
Literary Weekend through the magic of digital video telephony. He has a
penetrating eye and a gentle sense of humour. Recently, he turned that eye
on TarBoard itself.
Perhaps, after the resulting censure, he feels he is no longer wanted here?
I invite all those who admire Ed and enjoy his post comments to the contrary
to this thread.
