its set up so that (when it works properly) a message gets lopped off the bottom as one gets added - the most recent messages. To keep the file as an around 100kByte file.
Perhaps we are are using too much space by direct posting of pictures?
the pictures are on other sites, no space implication for me, just makes the page a slower download for people - possibly problematic for people with slow connections.
I'd sorted the script so that "Optional Image URL:" are rendered as [Links], see below, to the image rather than inline images. May alter the script so that inline images used in posts are similarly rendered as [Links] on TarText - most recent messages.
