DJ also states that Mme Sun was born in Shanghai and educated at the Wesleyan College in Macon, Galveston, Georgia, USA, "where she was known for her extreme shyness, devotion to her studies, and the difficulty which she found in Mathematics". Nothing about Latin, unfortunately.
