Mixed Moss. I always thought that it was from 'A rolling stone gathers no moss' With a life of many parts AR would have been gathering the threads and this would have been the Mixed Moss. i do not think it was a book but the basis for a future book which as suggested could have been his autobiography.Sometimes I think the avenues are best left unexplored for tread softly you may tread on dreams.
