You might look at the site before condemning it! It consists of links to a variety of internationally-known literary awards, including the Caldecott and Newbery Awards, as well as some lesser-known and themed awards. It is not restricted to Canadian awards, although why all Canadian awards are to be tarred (so to speak) with the same brush escapes me.
