Iain Hobbs originated the idea of an AR 'cover up' in the earliest days of
TarBoard, there was quite a fluttering of fans at my gentle suggestion of a
possible reason. The posts are now safely buried in one of Ian's shoeboxes,
where I am content to let them lie.

The protocol regarding bath towels in the 1920s-30s in the days before
automatic washing machines is something that I would dearly like to know
more about.

As you say the points at Strickland Junction have been adequately dealt with.
I am not Howard Jones, though I do talk to him from time to time.
