I don't know how likely it is, but it's quite possible that they didn't keep it or that for contractual or cost reasons they can't make it available. The trouble is that the only formal way to find out is to query the library database, and as far as I know that can't be done except from within the BBC's network. I believe that they get a great number of requests from the public for that kind of information, and that there simply isn't the staff to handle all such requests. Again, it really is a matter of cost.

I have the vague impression (no more than that) that there was an intention to make the catalogue accessible on line, but I've really no more idea than that. Sorry to be so vague, but it's some 15 years since I had an account on the Beeb system. Things change...
