Its more than than merely using the stereotypical "eh", which is shared by other English speaking areas, or even the upward inflection which is also used by others.
There is the idiosyncratic mixture of British and American spelling styles. There are some words which are used by many Canadians which are not used in other countries or not used to nearly the same extent.
Some examples: "riding" to mean parliamentary constituency, "reeve" may have been used in the past in Britain (Shire reeve = Sheriff) but is still used in Canada as the head person of a municipality or village.
Pogey for Unemployment Insurance.
Hydro for the electrcity company or electricity itself (from hydroelectric)
two-four (case of 24 bottles of beer), mickey (small bottle of liquor or spirits)
A camp is a holiday cottage in some parts of Ontario.
