No, it isn't. My point was that surely no one expects there to be a carbon copy of AR's Beckfoot at any of these places. AR's Beckfoot is fictitious, made up. The 'Beckfoots' which exist are no doubt charming places, and AR may have visited them, as he may have visited every beauty spot in England for all we know. But why should we visit them?
