One of my favourite scenes is in Swallowdale; the gradual build up to disaster as the Swallows prepare to meet the Amazons at Horseshoe Bay. The annoying delays before they set out, John watching the Amazons display their sailing skill and making the decision to hold on. Then the sudden gybe, the round-up crash and "There's water coming in".
