I don't recall thinking about this as a child, but as
an adult, when I read Peter Duck I find myself thinking
why on earth is "Swallow" in the story.
After all, the Swallow was owned by the Jackson's, and
not by the Walkers. I would have thought it'd make more
sense for the Amazons to have brought the Amazon, as
she was their boat.
I know this is a silly thing to wonder. It was a "fantasy"
story after all, so such things needn't have mattered. And
I suppose she was the flagship. Maybe this is more a sign
that I've grown up and I let adult questions intrude into
a child-like world...
