So what they say is what you would expect, including the heaviness about gender and racial stereotyping. Which is, from one perspective, correct. If I was reading the stories to my grand-children (they're too young as yet) I would, without making any big deal out of it, gently indicate to them when certain emphases weren't quite right. Worth doing- but I do that In Real Life anyway. Always gently, always reasonably, never going out of the way to find trouble, or boring on about it.
