Actually, you might be right about that, Dave. It's at least thirty years since I read any Huxley -- I guess (now that my 70-odd boxes of books have been unpacked) I'll have to get into him again.
But Type A is recognised (these days, and in psychological circles) as how I described it. The opposite is of course Type B -- far more laid back and less intense, and far less likely to become a heart-attack victim.
