Sorry I cannot answer your question but thought you might be intersted to know the following. My middle son, Toby who was a junior TAR in hs earlier years and still reads/listens to the books with enthusiasm, recently discovered Wodehouse (whilst on a tour of duty with the army in Iraq, of all places!)and like you reads him avidly. He took a number of volumes with him to Nepal in the spring where he was attempting to climb the SE ridge of Makalu with a joint services team (Toby is also a mountaineer!).
