From what I remember of the Westmoreland Gazette, they'd have been very excited indeed about a story like this. One of theirs that sticks in my mind from sometime in the 1980s was about the burglary of a knick-knack shop with a detailed list of stolen items including "x Peter Rabbits and y Mrs Tiggywinkles"
