Agreed, a good way of reminding the reader at the beginning of the book (PM).
And in SD Chapter 2 (page 34 in Cape hdbk) is he looking forward to the trip to the North Pole in WH already when Titty says: “There's lots of the Antarctic unexplored and all the Arctic at the other end of the lake”.
