She was an ICSNC (Jardines) ship, not CNCo (Swires).

So was the Suiwo, which interestingly was ten years older (1896 vs 1906)

I am dismayed at AR showing such a lack of judgement in choosing steamers; he should have gone on the Changsha, the Siangtan, the Wenchow, the Whangpu, the Woosung, the Wuchang the Wuhu, the Wulin or the Wusueh.
