To return to the original question in this thread, I have just found my
unposted submission to "Distilled Enthusiasm" in which I chose the D's
sail to the north pole in the blizzard as my favourite episode. I've
just read Swallows and Amazons, however, and Titty's capture of the
Amazon was still as exciting as ever. As Peter Dowden often described
any book as one of his twelve favourites I think I could find fifty
episodes tha,t at one time or other, would be my favourite.
