Was this the same "Awfully Big Adventure" series of programmes on children's authors that was broadcast back in the late 1990s? Or was it updated in some way from the original? I have a VHS tape of the ransome programme from that time, with the small boy running down the field to dabble his hand in the water of the lake innumerable times!
And who can remember what the series title means and where it comes from?
