Harrods 1929 Catalogue has, on the "Archery" page, "Children's Archery Sets", with 3ft 3ins bow, for 11/3. However, I'm sure Nancy would prefer a good lancewood bow (4ft 6ins) for 8/- (8 shillings). I don't see what 'Edwardian enthusiasm' has to do with it. The S&A books were written at the very end of the 1920s and through the 1930s. King Edward VII died in 1910. Merry Christmas.
