Peter - I agree with you that it should be The Dogs' Home, but can you tell us how you know that is the spelling AR preferred?
In the first edition of PM, the text and the chapter headings say The Dogs' Home, but the running titles at the top of the pages say The Dog's Home. I have been trying for years to find definite evidence to show which is right!
