While looking for a reference to Gondola (found plenty,)I came across a treasure trove of Ransomia (!) on You Tube. Maybe others already know about this, but there are video clips of Wild Cat Island, the campsite, the screen credits of the movie Swallows and Amazons and several more. Most engrossing, however, was a 1925 colour clip of Windermere and Coniston Water. There are even a couple of women who might have been the models for Mrs. Walker and Mrs. Blackett. These are the lakes that AR, and his famous characters, knew. I stumbled onto it by accident, and don't know if I could repeat my track, but I got it through "Gondola Coniston".
