Re-issue is due (I believe) on all 3 Oxus books-- it's amazing that adults kept their hands off the manuscript -- they must have recognized that the two young girls had an accurate (more complete and realistic) idea of feelings at that age ... it doesn't seem that in the intervening 60 years, UK or N. America, another teenager (or combination) has produced anything (in Children's literature)so durable. Maybe it was the environment of UK Girl's boarding school at that time, plus the appeal of AR's books ...
