In PM, Nancy dashes through the rain to the Hut just in time to share rabbit stew. She talks of how it has been with the GA controlling their lives, and of being made to read out loud and to play the piano.

"And then came tea and after that we had a dose of Chaminade... just as bad as reading... you know... getting the time wrong..."

The name, "Chaminade," was unknown to me. Maybe my classical music background has been missing out and that's why that name has managed to escape me. So, finally pushed by curiosity, I looked up that, and found this:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/C%C3%A9cile_Chaminade

So, in case anyone else had been wondering what that was referring to, the above link should satisfy that burning curiosity.

Just another one of those things one learns while chasing that fountain of learning, All Things Ransome.
