It was back in 1967 I bought that sailboat, for $750, including the trailer to haul it to and from the lake. It was a delightful experience, especially that I had never sailed before. The only instruction I had before rigging and sailing my own was to read the Ransome stories. With just that, I put it in the water, rigged it, and enjoyed many hours of successful sailing on Kerr Lake, in northern North Carolina.
