We, too, have an early February heat wave. After a January which was much colder than usual and didn't go above zero (Celsius) all month, the temperature has got above freezing the last three days and some of the snow has melted. Its only about 18" on the lawns and roofs. Its still piled about 3-4' high along the side of the road and consolidating into hard ice now. Most streets in the city are much narrower from all the snow on the side.
You must realise that this is a shock to our system, Toronto is the butt of jokes from the rest of the country because we get so little snow and allegedly can't cope with it.
