Of course. It's just that in my imagination they've been there since 1948, when I was given the books.

I agree that it's good to see real scenes from the books; Pin Mill provides all that in spades, not just the Butt and Oyster but the sailmaker's hut on the hard, which is certainly the original as illustrated by AR, and which knocked me all of a heap when I first went there. And of course there's Holly Howe/Bank Ground, and the Dog's Home. For me, the most evocative place in the Lakes is the old Windermere station yard, with the swing out to the left, onto the road down to Bowness/Rio. When we stayed in Windermere (actually doing a recce for a visit to the Arts and Crafts houses in the region) every time we passed the station, in my mind's eye I could see Rattletrap and the opening of Pigeon Post.
