It was, Pam, and as we were at Low Ludderburn looking over the valley to Barkbooth, a buzzard appeared up in the blue sky and "with hardly a flap of [its] great wings, wheeled round and round . . ." For a moment I experienced Dick's excitement when seeing the buzzards took his mind off the precipice.
