Suggestion as to what to read: "The Wind in the Willows", a classic
children's story. Has the usual talking animals. Location is
on the banks of the Thames. Cartoon characters have been based
on this book. Quite an adventure, that lends itself well to being
read aloud, but perhaps a bit much for the younger ones to try
to read for themselves.
