I wasn't reminded of PP as much as I was of Black Saturday, February 7, when 31 fires consumed an area equivalent to 3/4 of Wales in one day. What was shown on Lakeland cam is referred to here as a "Cool burn", where only the undergrowth is burnt off, leaving the trees intact. This is done to prevent fire from getting sufficient hold to get out of control.
