My Mirror was 27938 named Squashy Hat and had on her transom not only her name but also a splendid armadillo.
My last view of Squashy Hat was of her disappearing down the M6 (on a trailer) having been sold on Ebay..... sigh.....
I couldn't sail two boats at once, and my restored clinker-built Hirondelle took over as number one vessel.
Both boats have had Holly Howe as their home port and have enjoyed some splendid times on Coniston. If you look at today's Lakeland Cam you can just see a small brown splodge - Hirondelle moored at the Holly Howe jetty.
