Arrive in Coniston from the south about lunch-time on 19th September, spend that afternoon wandering around there (and I hope getting across to Wild Cat,) ...... I’d love to see places like The Dog’s Home, Octopus Lagoon, and so on, but as I’m not sure where they are I don’t know whether there’s going to be time.
A visit to The Island is going to take all afternoon really if setting off from Coniston boat landings. If taking a boat round, by road, and just doing the short hop across from the shore to the island then it would be possible to fit in The Dog's Home but not Octopus Lagoon as well, that would be just too much of a rush. But of course it all depends on how long you want to spend at each location.
