Its all about risk management. I subscribe to Free Range Kid raising but we have legislated ourselves to death. I recently returned from work in Cyprus. They seemed light years behind us Canadians in safety. Smoking in all buildings, no helmets on anybody, all terain vehicles on the roads, kids without seatbelts, NO FENCES AROUND SWIMMING POOLS! How is there anyone still alive eh?
Of course I'm not as crazy as I used to be.
