That's interesting, Adam. I didn't know about those two. Do you happen to know the rough dates of those coins?
I vaguely remember my family using crowns and half-crowns here when I was a kid in the 50s, but by then farthings had vanished. Halfpennies went on for quite a long time after that though (maybe right up to decimal coinage in 1966, but I can't be sure of that.)
Do you (or does anyone) know how the guinea came to be?
