Thoughts on "Secret Water"

Two, really.

Apart from "Great Northern", this is the last time we see the Swallows, and that is rather satisfactory, in a way, because they have settled down in Suffolk, made new local friends, and have very ample opportunity to go sailing with their parents, now that Daddy is back in England, so the Lake has lost its importance for them.

I personally choose to imagine them doing a lot of Pin Mill tyoe sailing, probably with Jim Brading in the "Goblin", and borrowing one of Shotley's new fleet of RNSA 14 ft dinghies (class started as the standard Naval dinghy, 1935..) for local expeditions.

The date and the tides.

Has anyone worked these out? I assume these events to be contemporaneous with "The Big Six"...
