Wonderful!! When I was eight through eleven, we lived in south central Missouri on a forty acre farm - it was three years of wonderful adventure. I had forest to explore, ponds to swim in and nearby cousins that would share in these adventures. At that time I started devouring books - Mark Twain, I read the entire anthology. My mother and I created fantastic art projects. It was after this we moved to Enid, Oklahoma that I discovered Mr. Ransome.
I still relate to that magical period, and for many years I plotted to return to that geographical area; but one can never go back, only forward. They say everyone wishes to return to when they were ten years old!
