Oh yes, Mike, at least it's PC in Canada, one of the most PC countries in the world. Actually, I think a light coffee-colour is very attractive. (Must avoid saying cool). Every summer we have thousands of white-skinned people trying to get that colour. We also have thousands of Chinese strolling the streets of Vancouver bearing parasols to avoid getting that colour.
I knew a Filipina who told me the following:
When God was making people, He finished the African races first and put them in the oven to bake. He left them in a little too long and when He took them out they were a bit burnt. Then he made the white races, but He took them out a little too soon. But when He baked the Filipinos He took them out and said, "Ah, just right."
Incidentally, Corazon Aquino died a couple of days ago. I had a tremendous respect for that woman and her amazing accomplishment. If you don't know what I'm talking about, look her up on the net. Not a Nancy type at all, but she got things done.
