Some very interesting coverage in The Sunday Times and The Sunday Telegraph today, with a feature by Chambers in the Times Culture magazine and a feature and review in the Telegraph.
Ian Thomson's review is interesting and gives a an idea of what the book is like
"... Chambers, wisely, has chosen to construct a life of Ransome not found in his books, and relied instead on documentary sources."
He apparently comments that in AR's autobiography "... the Russian chapters are a tissue of fabrication."
Thomson concludes that "... this sombre biography absorbs from start to finish."
