In my first edition / first printing Big Six, it's 'creek' but 'warps' (as Ed has it). That first Coot Club 'or course' has been 'or course' consistently since the first edition... Can check the others for first edition wordings at some point too. It is quite an easy typo, and I've never noticed any of those dozens of them in all the hundreds of times I've read them, which suggests its easy to miss in proof-reading too!!!
