BS is quite enjoyable, though perhaps I find PM the best (unlike Genia!).
The Ds impress with their ideas, though Dot gets carried away sometimes:

In BS, while they are eating at the doctors Dorothea tells them about prospecting for gold, pigeons and making charcoal. But Nancy is not mentioned by name; is this the only book where Nancy is not mentioned by name somewhere? (BS22).
