It will have to wait a little bit though, since I have had the flu and am overdue to write a complete newsletter. But I did order the 3 books by different authors that are entitled "Return to Treasure Island", so I will also review those eventually. I checked out the review on All Things Ransome that you gave the link to, and I have none of those, so hopefully I can make a contribution.
As mentioned above, the book I just finished was "The adventures of Ben Gunn", and it is a prequel. It was even better than I remembered. Then I watched an old tape of Treasure Island, just to hear Robert Newton's wonderful voice. Arrrh, a pirate's life for me! :-)
