I thought that it was really well done, and deserved to be filled out and even published by our favourite publishing group, Amazon. It is unlikely to happen, because of the use of AR's characters, but that does not detract from the value of the story itself. I would love to read the full thing! I particularly enjoyed the 'mystery' of the graves, and bringing Thorstein into the story.

The query about practicing recovery from an inversion is valid, but when I look back to my introduction to dinghy sailing in 1958, yes we did practice what to do when a dinghy goes over, as they did, and do, quite regularly. It was known as "bottling", and had nothing to do with decanting wine into vitreous containers! The really smart kids would be out of the boat and standing on the centreboard before the sail could hit the water! As soon as it came back up they'd be back inside and off like a scalded cat. It was one of those things which you learned as part of sailing a dinghy.
David.
