it was a pleasure and really nice to meet you and your wife. I guess many of us who live in this area do wish to help people who may have travelled thousands of miles to enjoy their visit. I find meeting people from around the world is a very rewarding aspects of TARS and Tarboard.
I'd add that if any other TARS/Tarboarders are coming to the Lakes do let me know and I'll see if we can meet up. I really enjoy trips out to Peel/Wild Cat Island! And I might be able to help with local inofrmation and indeed with gear too to save using up luggage allowance unneccesarily.
