A friend has relayed to a me a picture of High Nibthwaite showing the Amazon Boathouse at a real "flood tide", observing "What an adventure Nancy would have made of it!"
The photographer's caption for the picture was "The Amazon boathouse in the recent rains, with the Octopus Ocean behind it
(the octopi have all escaped and are roaming the lake…)"
