I know that rowing boats are but a poor relative of sailing boats,
but I thought that other TarBoard correspondents might be interested
in this story.
Leven Brown (GB), Ray Carroll (Ireland), Don Lennox (GB) and Livar Nysted (Faroe Islands) have just rowed the Atlantic (W to E) in
43 days 21 hours 26 minutes 48 seconds, beating the previous record of
55 days 13 hours set nearly 114 years earlier.
