Smashing. I've read a lot already, as most of us have, but there were good new pictures, and the whole thing is fascinating.
But then I suppose I am a Ransome nerd.
A small point; he includes a picture or Low Ludderburn, but the most fascinating present view is via Google Street View. Enter 'Low Ludderburn' and follow your nose. Not only do you see the house (down the driveway) and the barn in which he wrote, but there's also the garage in which he kept Rattletrap. And you can wander up and down the road, see it from different angles and look around you to see the views that AR and Evgenya will have seen every day.
