I rang the library in the summer to ask if they had a copy of Swallows and Amazons in stock, as I couldn't find my own book.
"I'll go and see," said the librarian. "Is it fiction or non-fiction?"

Makes me wonder...are all we Threadsfolk contemporaries of AR? I'm certainly beginning to fall apart at the seams!
