I wonder if the casting of actors from different racial backgrounds is just part of the political correctness movement that we see taken to extremes in children's TV. My daughters all love 'Balamory' but isn't it somewhat uneccessary to insert a wheelchair-bound Asian girl into a small Scottish island purely to prove a point?
I suggest we all get away from discussing the casting choices, before another flame war starts. How's about ripping the plot to shreds instead? Or looking at whether there is enough sea shanty influence on the music?
