I haven't been to Blake Holme, but I have been to Peel Island and I ask anyone to look at the picture on page 31 of my Cape hardback of Swallowdale and assure me that it is a picture of Peel Island. It is called The Island Camp and shows the beach with some rocks either side, a wide open space and the tents against the trees in the distance.

I am not denying Peel Island is the source of the secret harbour, I agree that is a beautiful island, it does have space for a small camp but I also say that Peel Island is not the be all and end all when it comes to the prototype of Wild Cat Island.
